Thank you for your interest in employment with Scott Credit Union (SCU). Now that you have applied, you may be wondering what to expect. Our hiring procedure is as follows:
- Application for all positions are collected by the Human Resource Department (H.R.) and entered into our applicant tracking system.
- Since the H.R. Department is not able to return the high volume of calls received from those inquiring on the status of their application, all applicants receive an email or letter confirming receipt of their application. If selected for an interview, candidates will receive a phone call from the H.R. Department.
- Applications are forward to the V.P. of Human Resources and the appropriate hiring manager for review. Candidates are then chosen for interviews. (Tip: be sure to carefully review your application for accuracy, spelling and completeness)
- The H.R. Department calls the applicants to be tested and interviewed.
- Upon completion of all interviews for the open position, H.R. is notified by the interviewing managers of the successful candidate’s name.
- If the V.P. of Human Resources and the hiring managers approve, the candidate is then hired.
- Those candidates interviewed will receive a letter notifying them that a successful candidate has been hired.
- Job postings are removed from SCU’s Website as positions are filled.
- Job postings are added as positions become vacant.
- All applications are considered for 60-days.
- Any applicant desiring consideration for another position should submit a new application for the open position.
