Do you have a passion for helping people?
Do you want to be a leader for a not-for-profit financial cooperative that strives to provide people like you with the best overall value when it comes to financial services?
If these things and being a part of a successful, growing billion dollar financial cooperative sound interesting, we would like to offer you the perfect opportunity. Scott Credit Union is seeking applicants to fill Associate Board Member positions.
Associate Board Members, like full Board Members, are volunteers and have the same duties and responsibilities with the exception of voting rights. Associate Board Members are part of the credit union’s Board succession plan which allows individuals to gain in-depth knowledge of Scott Credit Union and the business of financial services to prepare for a position as a voting Board Member.
The Associate Board members have the opportunity to participate in meetings and board activities to learn how the Board functions in its role of providing guidance and counsel to the credit union management.
The purpose of the volunteer, member Board of Directors is, on behalf of the membership, to assure that the credit union reaches its agreed-upon goals in the best interest of the membership.
