Service dogs can truly change the lives of those who are suffering from PTSD. That’s why Scott Credit Union is hosting a collection this month for Got Your Six Support Dogs.
Got Your Six Support Dogs helps veterans and first-responders who have risked their lives to serve our country. To support those who struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as well as sexual trauma, Got Your Six Support Dogs’ goal is to place trained PTSD service dogs with veterans and first-responders at no cost to help them heal from the psychological stress of war and duty through the compassion and healing power of their loyal 4-legged companions.
From February 3-29, 2020, all Scott Credit Union locations will be collecting donations for this worthy cause. Got Your Six Support Dogs is in special need of:
- Financial donations for vet bills and supplies
- Crates
- Nyla bones
- Kong brand toys
- Tuffy brand toys
- Leather leashes
- Heartworm and flea prevention
- Shampoo wipes
- Paw wax
