We are excited to welcome you into the Scott Credit Union family! As we transition you to your new products and services, we will be with you every step of the way and have put together the following about key dates and transition information.

Key Dates

Saturday, January 29th

  • Access to South Division Credit Union system’s online banking and mobile banking – including mobile deposits and online bill pay – ends at 1:00pm CST.
  • Last day for scheduled online banking external ACH transfers, scheduled internal transfers, and external funds transfers.
  • Shared Branching will not be available after 1:00pm CST until the branches reopen on Tuesday, February 1st.

Monday, January 31th

  • Evergreen Park, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, and Midlothian branches will be closed for conversion.
  • Last day to use your current debit card.

Tuesday, February 1st

  • Branches will reopen.
  • Register for and begin using Scott Credit Union’s online banking and bill pay by visiting scu.org/online-services.
  • Download the Scott Credit Union mobile app (iOS / Android).
  • Activate and begin using your new Scott Credit Union debit card.
  • Update any ACH payments and direct deposits with Scott Credit Union’s routing number 281077522. Your account number will remain unchanged.
  • If you have set up recurring payments using your debit card, you will need to provide the merchant with your new Scott Credit Union debit card number.

Transition Details

Debit Cards

Your current debit card will continue to work through Monday, January 31st. You will be receiving a new Scott Credit Union debit card in January with more detailed instructions. Please watch your mail closely for this card.

If you have set up recurring payments using your debit card, you will need to provide the merchant with your new Scott Credit Union debit card number beginning Tuesday, February 1st.

Credit Cards

Your current credit card will continue to work; therefore, there is no action necessary at this time. You will receive a separate communication with more information regarding your new Scott Credit Union credit card and debt protection at a later date. If you're looking to make a change, check out the credit card options available through SCU.

ATM Access

You will continue to have free access to Scott Credit Union ATMs. While Scott Credit Union does not participate in the CO-OP Shared ATM network, you can earn ATM surcharge fee rebates up to $10 per month with most Scott Credit Union checking accounts, including Extreme Checking.

Online Banking and Bill Pay

Your existing online banking and bill pay services will no longer be available after 1:00pm CST on Saturday, January 29th. At this time, you will no longer be able to schedule online bill payments.

Online banking users will need to register for Scott Credit Union's online banking service, SCU Online, by visiting scu.org/online-services on Tuesday, February 1st. Current online banking users will receive more details in January.

Note: Once you register for SCU Online, you can use the same credentials for Scott Credit Union's mobile banking app, SCU Mobile, for one convenient banking experience!

Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit

Your current mobile banking app and the mobile deposit service will become unavailable at 1:00pm CST on Saturday, January 29th.

On Tuesday, February 1st, mobile banking users will need to download Scott Credit Union's mobile banking app, SCU Mobile. Simply search 'Scott Credit Union' in your device's app store to download SCU Mobile. Once downloaded, tap 'Enroll Now.' More information will be sent to current mobile banking users via email in January.

Note: If you have already registered for SCU Online, your credentials can also be used for SCU Mobile. Therefore, you will not need to enroll twice.

Loan Payments

There are several ways to make a loan payment at Scott Credit Union:

  • Use SCU Online or SCU Mobile to transfer money from your Scott Credit Union checking or savings account to your Scott Credit Union loan.
  • Make an online payment from your account at another financial institution at scu.org/loan-payment-options.
  • Stop by your local branch or any CO-OP Shared Branches.
  • Make a payment by phone using a debit card from an account at another financial institution (please note, there is a $15 fee for this service).
Member Numbers

Most member numbers will remain unchanged. If you are one of the few members impacted by a new member number, you will be notified before Tuesday, February 1st.

Routing Number

The routing number you are currently using will change to Scott Credit Union's routing number 281077522. Please begin using this routing number with your existing account numbers on or after Tuesday, February 1st.

Automated Payments, Recurring Card Payments, Transfers and Direct Deposits

Automated payments and transfers set up through online and mobile banking will need to be reestablished in SCU Online and SCU Mobile on Tuesday, February 1st.

After Tuesday, February 1st, direct deposits will need to be updated with Scott Credit Union's routing number 281077522.

Important Note: DO NOT change the routing number prior to Tuesday, February 1st. Scott Credit Union will accept your direct deposit with the former South Division Credit Union routing number for a limited amount of time.

If you have set up recurring payments using your debit card, you will need to provide the merchant with your new Scott Credit Union debit card number beginning Tuesday, February 1st.

Checks

Scott Credit Union will continue to accept your current checks until further notice. Members still using South Division Credit Union checks will be contacted in February with instructions for receiving new checks.

Televoice

Beginning Tuesday, February 1, automated 24-hour account access will transition from Televoice to Scott Credit Union's MemberLink system at 800-MEM-LINK (800-636-5465). Please be sure to contact us at (800) 888-4728, Option 7, before using MemberLink for the first time.

NCUA Insurance

Your total deposits will continue to be federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to at least $250,000.

Tax Statements

2021 Tax Statements will be provided to you by mail and postmarked by 01/31/2022.

SCU Online, SCU Mobile and Bill Pay

Enjoy free* access to your account anytime, anywhere, 24/7 on your computer or mobile device. View balances, see transaction history, deposit a check with Mobile Deposit, pay bills, or make a transfer. *Your mobile service provider may charge internet access fees. Web access is needed for SCU Mobile. Check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges for mobile internet access.

Member Contact Center

Enjoy extended member service hours by reaching out to our Member Contact Center by live chat at SCU.org, email or phone (800) 888-4728. Our team is available to help with your member service needs Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm CST and Saturday from 9am to 1pm CST.

Branches and ATMs

The local Evergreen Park, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Midlothian branches will remain open. Plus, you will continue to have access to thousands of participating CO-OP Shared Branch locations.

With headquarters in Edwardsville, Illinois, Scott Credit Union also serves the St. Louis Metro area with an additional 20 branches in both Southwestern Illinois and Missouri.

Visa Debit Card

With your Scott Credit Union Visa Debit Card, make purchases anywhere Visa is accepted and use it as an ATM card to access cash and conduct other transactions at ATMs. Plus, enjoy the convenience of using your debit card in mobile wallets, including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.

Starting Tuesday, February 1st, instant issued debit cards will be available in branch lobbies. This means new and replacement debit cards can be issued during a branch visit instead of waiting for a card to arrive in the mail!
