About Greg Bridgman
July 13, 1992, marked the beginning of my adventure in helping people become homeowners (over 30 years ago, wow!). My previous 14 years as a preaching pastor aided me in understanding the stress of relocating to a new home and securing that dreaded home loan! When my wife and I purchased our homes, lenders did not explain how the process worked. We felt anxious, ignorant, and confused with no guidance. So, I determined when I became a home lender that I would use my background as an educator to inform my borrowers how the process works in everyday language. My passion to help people is the driving force behind the joy I find in making the homebuying process clear and understandable, to bring peace of mind to my borrowers.
Born in Cairo, IL, I have lived much of my life in this state primarily in St. Clair County. I am blessed with a wonderful wife of more than 44 years. From our two adult daughters, we wound up with six grandsons (no precious granddaughter for my wife to purchase frilly dresses for). When I am not working, I am busy being “granddaddy” and preaching at First Christian Church in Chester, IL each Sunday morning.
With so many years in home lending, I have extensive experience in all forms of home loans from VA, FHA, USDA, Conventional and Jumbo loans. Since “no one size shoe fits all,” my aim is to listen to your financial plan for housing and make recommendations for the best loan programs to fit your needs.
