Whether you carry an SCU debit card, credit card, or both, your upgraded card featuring the Mastercard network will be arriving in your mailbox in the coming weeks. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and how to prepare for your new card.
When Will Your New Card Arrive?
We’re reissuing cards in phased waves to ensure a seamless experience for everyone:
- SCU Debit Cards: Rolling out late August through September
- SCU Credit Cards: Rolling out in October
Be on the look out for a plain white envelope in your mailbox when your new card arrives.
What’s Staying the Same?
While your card is getting a major upgrade, your underlying accounts remain completely seamless:
- Account Numbers: Although your Scott Credit Union account numbers will remain the same (such as checking and savings), your debit and credit card numbers will change.
- Rates & Terms: Your current interest rates, terms, and due dates will not change.
- Digital Banking: Your Scott Credit Union mobile app and online login remain identical.
- Other Accounts: Your checking, savings, loans, and all other accounts are completely unaffected.
- No Added Costs: Upgrading your card brings extra protection and perks at zero extra cost to you.
