Scott Credit Union Wins Prestigious Diamond Award for Digital Advertising Excellence
Edwardsville, IL – April 14, 2026 – Scott Credit Union was among 181 credit unions nationwide named as a winner of the prestigious 2026 Diamond Awards. Presented by America’s Credit Unions Marketing, PR & Development Council, the annual competition recognizes the most effective and innovative marketing campaigns in the credit union industry.
Scott Credit Union received the following accolade:
- Digital Advertising — “More Car for Your Money” Auto Loan Campaign
This year’s competition marked the strongest in Diamond Awards history, drawing a record 1,481 submissions from credit unions representing nearly every state and asset level. A total of 330 awards were distributed, reflecting the exceptional quality of work produced by 181 organizations across 42 states.
The award-winning “More Car for Your Money” campaign was a data-driven transformation of SCU’s digital strategy. Launched as a five-week fall initiative, the campaign reimagined messaging to focus on monthly payment savings and transparency to help members navigate rising interest rates and vehicle prices. By optimizing spending across SEM, Meta, and OTT, the team achieved a dramatic 90% reduction in CPA on Meta and a 243% increase in SEM application starts.
“At Scott Credit Union, we believe that smarter execution and strategic learning allow us to deliver the most value to our members,” said Frank Padak, President and CEO of Scott Credit Union. “This Diamond Award reflects our team’s commitment to adapting our digital presence to meet the real-world financial needs of our community. We are honored to be recognized among the best in the industry for work that delivers measurable lending impact.”
The results of the campaign were significant, supporting the funding of 629 auto loans totaling more than $20 million in just over a month.
“We are proud to recognize Scott Credit Union and this year’s Diamond Award winners for their entries that deliver both creativity and results,” said Lorrell Bellotti, Diamond Awards Co-chair and Chief Marketing Officer at Western Vista FCU. “These entries demonstrate an understanding of the people we serve and strategic execution that delivers measurable impact.”
